Toongabbie Medical Practice
Toongabbie Medical Practice is your go-to healthcare provider for all your GP needs. Our clinic is open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon. Although these are our standard hours, our receptionists are available from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm to assist with calls and to ensure prompt attention if needed.

Special Practice Notes – The patients are free to choose their own Doctors at this practice. The doctors in this family practice use electronic system for health care (paperless). there is an option for paper based prescriptions and referrals to specialists.
Your Privacy – Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized staff members. If your personal information has changed (phone no, address) please notify
us. A copy of the practice privacy policy could be obtained at the reception. You may request in writing to access your medical record if needed.
Your Comments – on our medical services are always welcome. If there is anyway we can improve for your benefit we will. Feel free to provide this in the suggestion box. If you are not completely satisfied with any aspect of the health care you receive in this practice please talk to the practice manager. Reminder System – This practice is committed to preventive care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventive health services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be part of this system kindly advice the reception staff.
Follow-up of Test Results – Patients are requested to make appointment to discuss the test results over the phone or in person unless it is urgent. Please note that we have an appointment system everyday for all consultation. But walk-ins will be seen if possible. Urgent medical problems will be attended to
immediately.
Home Visits – for regular patients too ill to travel (within a distance of 5km).
Longer Consultations – are available if appropriate. Insurance medical review of complex health medical problems, counseling for emotional difficulties or a second opinion will be given the attention it deserves. If appropriate please bring relevant letter and test results.
Telephoning Your Doctor – Our staff is experienced in helping you decide whether your problem requires an urgent advice immediately or a phone consultation by appointment.
