Welcome to Dentalo Dental! Our team is dedicated to making every patient feel welcome, comfortable, and valued – because in our office you are! One of our favorite things to do is help those patients who suffer from dental fear or anxiety. We start by trying to understand the cause of dental phobias. In many cases, the problem actually stems from tooth, gum, or gag reflex sensitivity. By addressing the unnecessary discomforts, our patients are able to receive the care they need. In other cases, a traumatic experience in the past has lead patients to distrust the dentist. We work to build long lasting relationships with our patients founded on trust and respect.

Toongabbie Medical Practice is your go-to healthcare provider for all your GP needs. Our clinic is open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon. Although these are our standard hours, our receptionists are available from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm to assist with calls and to ensure prompt attention if needed.

- Women’s health, including family planning, cervical screening, and pregnancy tests.
- Fetal Ultrasound – For detection of fetal movements and heart sounds after 12 weeks of pregnancy
- On-site pathology for blood and urine tests.
- Heart Health Checks- ECG, blood pressure, Cholesterol and Heart Bug monitor device
- Finger–prick blood test for diabetes in the surgery
- Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) for Diabetic patients
- Minor Surgery – wound management, and dressing, repair of cuts, biopsy, freezing of wart and sunspots, excision of small skin lesions and skin glue for small cuts
- Health assessments for seniors and children
- Travel medicine and vaccinations
- Computer assessment of Cardiovascular risks
- RMS drivinig medical assessment
- Care plan and referral to allied health care team

We understand the importance of accessibility and convenience in healthcare. Therefore, we provide bulk-billing for most services, ensuring minimal out-of-pocket costs for our patients. Some services, such as Workers Compensation and Third Party cases, may incur additional costs, but our doctors will inform you beforehand.

Special Practice Notes – The patients are free to choose their own Doctors at this practice. The doctors in this family practice use electronic system for health care (paperless). there is an option for paper based prescriptions and referrals to specialists.
Your Privacy – Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized staff members. If your personal information has changed (phone no, address) please notify
us. A copy of the practice privacy policy could be obtained at the reception. You may request in writing to access your medical record if needed.
Your Comments – on our medical services are always welcome. If there is anyway we can improve for your benefit we will. Feel free to provide this in the suggestion box. If you are not completely satisfied with any aspect of the health care you receive in this practice please talk to the practice manager. Reminder System – This practice is committed to preventive care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventive health services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be part of this system kindly advice the reception staff.
Follow-up of Test Results – Patients are requested to make appointment to discuss the test results over the phone or in person unless it is urgent. Please note that we have an appointment system everyday for all consultation. But walk-ins will be seen if possible. Urgent medical problems will be attended to
immediately.
Home Visits – for regular patients too ill to travel (within a distance of 5km).
Longer Consultations – are available if appropriate. Insurance medical review of complex health medical problems, counseling for emotional difficulties or a second opinion will be given the attention it deserves. If appropriate please bring relevant letter and test results.
Telephoning Your Doctor – Our staff is experienced in helping you decide whether your problem requires an urgent advice immediately or a phone consultation by appointment.
